CLARINS – Vital Light Launch (Sept. ’10)

Context and goals:

  • Recruiting and developping e-customer loyalty towards women over 50 yo / high professional groups.
  • Reinforcing Clarins’ leader position on the anti-age market.
  • Unveiling the brand and the product range with a different angle.
  • Creating buzz and getting the viewers to share it with their friends.

How we figured it out:

  • The concept:
    • The 20-40-year-old daughter becomes Clarins’ambassador towards her mother.
    • The claim: « She gave you life, offer her Light » which perfectly fits with the campaign’s name, i.e. Vital Light.
  • The project includes:
    • A video-sharing website and an online game between the mothers and the daughters.
    • 3 international website versions for France, Canada and Switzerland.
